Huntington Hobo bag

I love this Huntington Hobo Bag made by Pink Sand Beach Designs and you can get it here
even though it looks big, it is even bigger inside! It is extremely roomy and you can fit your room in it :)
This bag will teach you how to make an outside inset pocket. The instructions are fantastic with pictures inside. Super easy to follow. I highly recomend this pattern. It is really fun to make and does not take a long time.  "Wild Life Waterfall" is one of my favorite prints from my Safari Moon Collection.  I hope you enjoy this post. Love Frances

A mini Hexi modern quilt...

I wish I could take credit for this beautiful mini modern quilt however, a very dear friend of mine Scott Griffith made this quilt. He is an amazing quilter and quilt designer. I am hoping to help him with a blog so that you can see his amazing work. The mini hexies are Safari Moon and AGF blenders.
Squared elements for the binding. I hope you find this quilt inspiring. Love, Frances

A Little Birdy Told Me

Here is a very quick and sweet project to make as a gift or a door knob hanger or for a Christmas tree ornament. The bird can also be a valentines gift. It is very easy to make and I hope you enjoy this tutorial.

Supplies: 2 fat quarters, decorative beads, and ribbon.

Follow the pictures and place ribbon inside and sew, try to tuck the ribbon in as you sew around the bird body. Leave opening between dots. Make sure to clip curves after sewing around the bird.
Make sure to iron openings closed and try to smooth out with fingers so there are no bumps. Use iron to sculpt in place. Slip stitch opening closed on bird body, and both wings.
String thread through the tiny bead and back through the larger beads. Also through both wings with buttons to anchor both wings.
